The funeral was conducted at the Baptist Church, of which she was a member, Friday at 11 o'clock by Rev George CROWE, after which the remains were buried in the cemetery here, beside the body of her husband. Mrs FLINN was, before her marriage, Miss Kate ROBBERTSON. She was a devoted wife and mother and her children, who are Mrs Will McCOLLUM of Marietta, Miss Sue FLINN, and Messrs Homer, Leander, Frank, Elbert and Hollis FLINN, have the sympathy of the entire community. The floral offerings were beautiful. Mrs Ralph DEWBERRY of Mars Hill visited her parents, Mr and Mrs C F MORGAN last week. Mrs Carl WINN has been visiting in Etowah, Tenn. Mr W E McCLURE has had his house moved back from so near the street and otherwise improved it. So much rain has made the roads almost impossible to travel. When are we going to have that government road built on the highway. If the county roads are not fixed the mail route men will have to stop carrying the mail. It seems nothing but taxes and no roads are kept up. What is the matter? Mr Frank COLLUM is selling stock in his brother James COLLUM's farm, in Jones county, Tex., where oil has been found. Mr Herschell LENARD is attending the farmer's course at Athens. Mr Robert LENARD is visiting Mr and Mrs Hollis LENARD at Barnesville. Mrs Carl WINN has been visiting at Etowah, Tenn. Mrs Sue CASON of Atlanta was a recent visitor to her sister, Mrs E G HILL. Mrs Jennie BURT continues to improve, much to the delight of relatives and friends. - Gypsy File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/ga/cobb/newspapers/kennesaw314nnw.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.net/gafiles/ File size: 2.2 Kb
