Harmon was wounded in France about three years ago, and died shortly afterward. He is survived by his father, Mr Dallas THOMAS, two brothers, Edward and Joseph THOMAS, three sisters, Mrs Robert HIPPS and Misses Margie and Louise THOMAS. Mrs Roland RUSSOM and little son, James, have returned after a delightful visit with relatives in Dallas. Misses Flora and Ve-na LESTER spent the week-end with relatives in Fairburn. Miss Georgia Lee GALT is on an extended visit to relatives in Dallas. The little sons of H A HILDERBRAND, Gatlin and Richard, of Tucker, Ga., are spending a few weeks with their grandmother, Mrs J R HILDERBRAND. Mr Max WHITFIELD and mother are spending the summer in Atlanta. Mr Judson BUTLER of Atlanta spent one day last week with his mother, Mrs J R BUTLER. A delightful event of Thursday evening was the card party given by Mr and Mrs Cloyd EVANS at their home on Acworth Drive. After the games delicious refreshments were served. Mr Dewey GALT leaves this week for Dallas to spend his vacation. Miss Margaret BUTLER of Savannah will arrive some time about the middle of June to be the guest of her cousin, Miss Julia BUTLER. Miss BUTLER is a charming young lady and many parties are being planned in her honor. Mrs Lamar LEWIS and little son, Glynn Lamar, are visiting relatives in Dallas. Mr Edward GALT Jr has returned from Nashville, where he has been on a business trip for the Speer & McKay Co., of Atlanta. Mr and Mrs Jessie D HILDERBRAND made a business trip to Marietta one day last week. Miss Winnie Ruth CARRIE of Atlanta is the guest of her parents, Mr and Mrs Edward CARRIE. The many friends of Mr Homer FLYNN will be glad to learn that he is rapidly improving from injuries received recently in a saw mill accident. Mr Errol DUKE of Marietta was the guest of Mr Clarence ROBERTS Sunday. The many friends of Miss Elizabeth BOND are glad to see her out again after a short illness. Mr Robert GATLIN of Atlanta spend the week-end with his aunt, Mrs J G LEWIS. Miss Elaine COX is spending the week-end in Atlanta with relatives. Mrs Jerome COX and little daughter, of Brazelton, are visiting relatives here. Miss Margie THOMAS spent Sunday in Marietta with her sister, Mrs Robt HIPPS.
