The Marietta Journal January 10, 1919
KENNESAW

Mrs Jerome COX and little daughter, Genevieve, are visiting Mrs COX's father, Mr
B H CARRIE.

Mr and Mrs George R BURT, Mr Paul BURT of Macon, and Mr L F GRANY of Camp
Wheeler, were the guests of their mother, Mrs Jennie BURT, during the holidays.

Miss Alice CASON of Atlanta has been a recent visitor to her aunt, Mrs Griffin
HILL. 

Mr and Mrs Lamar LEWIS entertained at a very beautiful mid-day dinner in honor
of their guests, Misses Idell and Louise RUSSOM, Nell MOON and Lynne HITCHCOCK,
of Dallas.  Invited to meet the guests were: (sic) and Miss Mary LANE of
Rockmart, Misses George BURT, Flora LESTER, Georgia Lee GALT, Lucile REBERTSON,
and Mr and Mrs Roland RUSSOM.

Miss Georgia BURT entertained her Sunday school class with a delightful party
Thursday afternoon.  Those present were Miss Mary LEWIS, and her guest, Miss
Lillian EIDSON of Marietta, Misses Donna Jean and Kate ELLIS of Waleska, and
Misses Mary CONNOR, Edna BORING, Ruby HILL, Evelyn BORING, Marie GRAY and Agnes
ROBERTSON.  Miss BURT was assisted in entertaining by her mother, Mrs Jennie
BURT, Mrs E Y HILL and Mrs Frank BURT.

Mr Frank I DOBBS was the week-end guest of his aunt, Mrs E Y HILL.

Mr and Mrs V G GRAY entertained at a beautiful Christmas dinner for Mr and Mrs
George R BURT of Macon.  Covers were laid for eight.
