Mr L C MAYES of Atlanta spent Saturday and Sunday at home. A young lady from here went to town a few days ago. She spent most of the contents of her purse, but on returning home lost the purse, and among the most valuable things it contained was a rabbit's foot. She is anxious to get the foot. The finder will please return to L M, Lost Mountain, Ga. The dry weather still continues. Garden vegetables are burning up and the grain crop will be very short. We haven't had a good season of rain since about the first of April. Communion services were held at Midway Sunday. Miss Fannie McLAIN of Calhoun, Ga., visited her sister here last week. Mrs W C KEHELY is in very bad health. We hope she will soon be restored to health and be able to be out again. The farmers' club added several new members at its last meeting. The subject for discussion at the next meeting is: Resolved, That farming does pay. - Allen File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/ga/cobb/newspapers/lostmoun192nnw.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.net/gafiles/ File size: 1.6 Kb
