She bore her long suffering with a great deal of patience, never seeming to complain of her affliction. She was indeed a christian woman and those who knew her can testify best as to her walk in life. She connected herself with the Presbyterian church early in life and lived a devoted member. She was one of the charter members of Midway church. She leaves four sons and four daughters and a host of grand-children to mourn her death. She was buried Saturday at Midway graveyard, Rev G T BOURNE conducting the funeral service. We deeply sympathize with the relatives in their sad bereavement. We regret to learn of the death of one of Upshaw's best citizens, Mr D D BABB. We extend our sympathy to the bereaved family. Omer PICKENS' sickness proved to be a case of measles. Mr Wheeler SHIPP, the mail carrier, came home with the measles one day last week. A good many had a chance to take them. Guess we will have plenty of measles now. Miss Pearl BULLARD has pneumonia fever. Miss Annie DUBOSE is here to spend two weeks. We welcome her smiling face among us. J W ARNOLD is building a barn for Mr BAGWELL. J M PICKENS of Sand Mountain, Ala., attended the burial of his mother here. - Allen File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/ga/cobb/newspapers/lostmoun235nnw.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.net/gafiles/ File size: 1.9 Kb
