He was about 5 years old. It was very sad for the parents to see the separation of these two boys. He was buried at Midway Thursday the 23rd. The funeral was conducted by Rev E D PATTEN and the entire community feel in profound sympathy for the bereaved family. Mr Rholie WARD graduated in the law department of the State University, and is now ready to practice law. We predict a success for him and listen to hear of him becoming famous in his profession. Mrs Sarah MARTIN and little Pauline MAYES of Cartersville are here on a visit. Misses Nannie and Corine SCOTT, Minnie ARNOLD and Jessie KEMP will open their respective schools Monday the 11th. School will also open here on that date. Merriel, the little son of Mr and Mrs Theodore WARDLAW, is quite sick. Johnson WILLIAMS and Lynn MAYES spent Sunday and Monday in Cartersville. Lost Mountain has the distinction of having a member and the 1st honor graduate of the 1st graduating class of the A & M College at McLand, in the person of Wilson ARNOLD. Our boys are generally found up at the head of the class.
