The Marietta Journal April 26, 1894
MABLETON

The singing here last Sunday was largely attended.  We are glad to see our
friends from Smyrna, Austell, Lithia Springs, Powder Springs and Milford.

Mrs W M GILL visited her sister, Mrs P M RICE, near Smyrna last week.

Miss Maggie LOWE of this place has gone to attend Lithia Springs High School.

Miss Josie BOWIE, who assisted Prof ELLIS in the Mableton school, returned home
Friday.  Miss Josie has many friends who regret her absence.

Miss Maude LOWE visited Atlanta last week.

Miss Mollie MITCHELL has returned home after spending several days with her
aunt, Miss Mable.

Mr G I WILKS and family visited Mr and Mrs A Y MOSS Sunday.

Rev Steve ROGERS has been visiting relatives here.  Glad to see you with us, Steve.

Messrs J H STARNES and J M GLORE of Atlanta visited here Sunday.
