MACLAND

Mr Grover PETTY has returned home from Atlanta where he had an operation
performed for appendicitis.  He is getting on nicely.

Mr D F C ALLGOOD had a sale at his home Thursday and will move to Atlanta.

Mr Richard ADAIR is building a nice new dwelling on Dallas road not far from his
blacksmith shop.

Mrs Henry R HUNT has returned from Atlanta where she has been several weeks for
medical treatment.

Born unto Mr and Mrs Felton DOBBS Sunday morning a fine daughter.

Mrs Addie BABB of Battle Hill is spending a few days with relatives here.

Mrs (sic) Nesbitt WHITE and wife of Atlanta have rented rooms from Mrs Hattie
BABB and will move this week.  We welcome them.

Miss Victoria GRIGGS has been quite sick again for the past few days.
