He was 65 years of age. Revs Kellet and Upshaw conducted the funeral services. A large concourse of sorrowing friends attended, among them were several old soldiers who were in the war with Mr McElreath. He was a member of the Methodist church at this place and resided here a number of years. He had many friends here who regret to hear of his sudden death. The children have our profound sympathy in this sad hour of bereavement. MARRIED - Sunday afternoon, at the residence of Hon Geo M McElreath, Mr Robert Boynton and Miss Belle Hunter. Mr McElreath performed the ceremony. We congratulate the happy pair. Mr James F Johnson will have a sale at his home December 20. He will move to Dallas in the near future. Mr Johnson and family have been living in this community for many years, and we regret to give them up, but wish them success in their new home. Miss Myrtle Lindley spent last week with relatives at Powder Springs. Miss Docia Babb came home from Young Harris College to attend the funeral of Mr McElreath and will spend Christmas at home.
