MACLAND

Mr Ernest CLAY, who has spent the summer here with his parents, has regained his
health so as to be able to go to work.  He left Monday for Atlanta, where he has
a position.

Messrs Charlie HAMILTON and B W GRIGGS of Due West spent Saturday night and
Sunday here with relatives.

Mr and Mrs Henry HOPKINS announce the birth of a son October 14th, whom they
will christen Raymond Allison.

The friends of Mr E A KEMP will regret to know that he is not well.  We hope to
see him out real soon.

Miss Vannah HOPKINS is spending some time with the family of Mr B V HOPKINS.
