Mr and Mrs J W BLAKEMORE and little daughter, Helen, left Tuesday afternoon for an extended visit to friends and relatives in Puryear, Tenn., and Poplar Bluff and St Louis, Mo. Mrs C T NOLAN and daughter, Miss Elizabeth NOLAN, returned Saturday from Raleigh, N C, where Miss NOLAN graduated from St Mary's college. Mr Norman G BACON, of Seneca, S C, is the guest of his sister, Mrs J J DANIELL. Miss Sabine NICHOLS returned Saturday from a visit to relatives at Daytona Beach, Fla. Mr Burwell NOLAN returned home Tuesday from Suwanee, Tenn., where he was a student at Suwanee Military Academy. Mrs J H BORING and two sons, James and Paul, of Canton, are guests of Mrs P B LATIMER. Mr and Mrs W M BROWN and Mr and Mrs E C CLOWER have returned to their home in Andaluvia, Ala., after spending a week with Mr and Mrs N J HORN. Mr and Mrs O G DODGEN and children, Mr and Mrs Hugh GROOVER and children, and Mrs Alice DODGEN returned Monday from Chattanooga where they have been visiting their sister, Mrs S M KENT. Dr J M T SMITH of Poplar Bluff, Mo., is visiting his sister, Mrs W P WARD, at Mr and Mrs Esmer MAYES. Jude (sic) and Mrs A L BARTLETT, of Dallas, Ga., visited friends here Sunday. A party composed of officers from Camp Benning and a number of ladies of Atlanta were guests at Roxana Hall on Monday for lunch. Mrs J C CHAPMAN and children have returned from a visit to her parents, Mr and Mrs J F BEAVERS, in Blackwells. Mr and Mrs L A STONE announce the arrival of a little daughter on Saturday, May 15th. She will be called Mary Catherine. Dr and Mrs A M ANDERSON, Mrs E B McNEEL, of Atlanta, and Mr Jack HART, of Union Point, are among the guests at Roxana Hall. Miss Willie BEAVERS has returned to her home in Blackwells after a visit to her sisters, Mrs J W RICH and Mrs J C CHAPMAN. Little Sarah Ruth CHENEY of Macon is spending this week with her grandmother, Mrs B A OSBORN. Miss Sadie SIBLEY returned home Tuesday after attending a house-party at Athens. Mr and Mrs Orlando AWTREY, of Acworth, spent the week-end with their parents, Mr and Mrs R E BUTLER. Miss Willie V LATIMER, who underwent an operation for appendicitis three weeks ago, at the Marietta sanitarium, is with her aunt, Mrs Walter STEPHENS, for a week. Mr Jack HART, of Union Point, Miss Fannie Sibley LOZRENS, and Miss Emma GARDNER were the dinner guests of Judge and Mrs S H SIBLEY on Monday evening. Mr and Mrs R W LEWIS spent two days last week in Carrollton, and while there, Mrs LEWIS visited an old friend, Mrs Jim MOOR. Mrs SWANSON, who is with the Redpath Chautauqua and has charge of the children's hour, is staying with the Misses SETZE. Mr and Mrs Leon GREEN and little daughter, Carolyn, of Atlanta, spent the week-end with their parents, Mr and Mrs W B WHITE. The Methodist Philathea class will have their regular monthly business and social meeting on Tuesday, Jun 7th, at the home of Mrs Pierce LATIMER, on Church street. Mrs S H SIBLEY has returned from a week's stay in Rome, where she was pleasantly entertained by friends. Miss Vieta McCOLLUM of Smyrna was the Sunday guest of Mrs J C CHAPMAN. Miss Sadie SIBLEY and her guest, Miss Ruth L LAUGHON, of Agnes Scott, left Thursday for Knoxville, Tenn., for a visit to relatives before going to Pulaski, Va., to Miss LAUGHON's home. Miss SIBLEY will go from there to Middlesboro, Ky., to be present at a house-party. Mr Arthur MOORE left Wednesday for a business trip to South Georgia. Little Miss Lucy JOYNER is spending several days in Woodstock with her cousin, Elizabeth DEAN. Major and Mrs McCREEL, Lt BARNES of Fort McPHERSON, and Mr MARSHALL, of Chicago and Orlando, Fla., were guests at Roxana Hall on Monday. Mrs Moultrie FREY and children have returned from a visit to relatives in Montezuma, Ga. Mr James and Misses Olivia GARNER and little Bell GOLDIN of Atlanta were representing the City Union of Atlanta and visited the Methodist Baraca and Philathea classes on Sunday. They were the guests of Miss Daisy WHITE. Mrs W E SIMS and Mrs J D MALONE, Jr., of Atlanta, will spend the week-end with their parents, Mr and Mrs H J JOLLEY.
