Mr and Mrs Marion DOBBS, Mr and Mrs Norman COLLINS, Mr and Mrs W J BLACK, Mr and Mrs Geo GRIFFIN, Mr Pat MELL, Miss Ella WHITE, Miss Charlotte NORTHCUTT, Miss Hattie BLACK, Miss Helen GRIFFIN, Mr Phil BATE and Mr A K WHITE attended the ARNOLD-BLACK wedding in Monroe on Wednesday. Mr and Mrs N B BROWN and children of Atlanta were the guests of Mr and Mrs W M GOBER for the week-end. Mrs D CREEL and baby of Atlanta were the guests of Miss Catherine GALLEY on Monday and Tuesday. Miss Aimee D GLOVER, who is a graduate of Agnes Scott college, returned home Tuesday morning. Mrs H L HUTCHERSON has returned from Atlanta where she has been in the Wesley Memorial Hospital for an operation on her eyes. Her many friends will be delighted to know that her sight has been fully restored. Mr and Mrs ALFORD motored up from Atlanta on Tuesday to get Miss Helen FAW, and they left immediately for their home in Bonifay, Fla. Miss FAW will visit other friends and relatives in the western part of Florida and in Alabama, before returning home. Mrs Robert RANDOLPH has returned to her home in Boston, after a visit to relatives here. Misses Annie, Flossie and Sarah MAYO of Atlanta were the guests of Mrs G C LANFORD on Saturday. Mrs Harry STEELE and little daughter, Laura Mayes, of Atlanta, spent the week-end with her parents, Mr and Mrs W M GOBER. Mr and Mrs J Wilder GLOVER attended the graduating exercises at Agnes Scott college, where their daughter was a graduate. Mr Joseph L ATKINS of Portland, Ore., is spending a few days with his sister, Mrs E L FAW. Mr and Mrs Paul LOVEJOY and son, William, left Tuesday for a visit to relatives in Savannah, Waverly and Brunswick. Mrs J M AUSTIN and children left Sunday for an extended visit to her parents, Mr and Mrs WILLIAMS, in LaFayette, Ala. Mr Norman S PRATT of Jacksonville, Fla., spent one night last week with his mother, Mrs F K PRATT. Mrs G P REYNOLDS and son, Palmer, spent a few days this week with her sisters, the Misses ADAMS, on Fourteenth street in Atlanta. Wallace J HUTCHERSON, Jr., who has been staying with his aunt, Mrs T M RANDOLPH, and attending school, has returned to his home in New Orleans. Jim BRUMBY, a student at Suwanee college, stopped over a few days to visit Burwell NOLAN before going to his home in Duneden, Fla. Little Misses Mary, Carolina and Dean PERKINSON, of Woodstock, are spending this week with Tom PERKINSON. Mrs F K PRATT and Miss Marion KING have returned from a visit to Mr and Mrs Norman S PRATT in Atlanta. Little Misses Laura and Lidia HOKE of Atlanta are the guests of their aunt, Mrs Loring RAOUL. Mrs Jim SHAW and children of Winder are visiting relative here. Miss Sarah Wood GRAMLING graduated from Lincoln school, Providence, R I, on Tuesday. Miss GRAMLING will visit friends in Boston before returning home. Mr and Mrs Morgan McNEEL and daughter, Margaret, left Monday for Charlotte, N C, where they will join Mr and Mrs Charles DeFOOR and go to Asheville and Wrightsville Beach. Mrs Roy ROBERTS of Atlanta is spending this week with her mother, Mrs Geo ROBERTS. Mr and Mrs William McEACHERN were the dinner guests of Mrs Jessie B DURANT in College Park on Saturday evening. Miss Virginia BOSTON returned home Wednesday from Lucy Cobb. She had as her guest, Miss Amelia PRIDE. Mrs Charlie BROWN and Miss Cora BROWN left Monday for a short visit to friends in Monroe, going from there to Athens on Tuesday to attend the Lucy Cobb Alumnae meeting. They will also go to Monroe on Wednesday to attend the ARNOLD-BLACK wedding. Mrs Loring RAOUL and children have returned from a visit to relatives in Chattanooga. They brought little Marion RAOUL home with them. Mrs Bettie PACE of Rome and Mr NORRIS and two sons of Selma, Ala., were the guests of Mrs S C McEACHERN on Friday. Miss Frances DOBBS is visiting her aunt, Mrs Will H HAHR in Barnesville and attending the commencement exercises at Gordon. Mrs S C McEACHERN spent last Thursday in Rome. Mrs Charlie GRAMLING, and daughter, Martha Johnson, are expected home Friday from Messa, Ariz., where they have been for the past several months visiting Mr and Mrs Marvin DUNN.
