Mr MANNING had helped to organize the Sunday School Association in Cobb county. Short addresses were made by various parties, narrating incidents in the lives of these good people, and enforcing their christian example. Mr MANNING had resided in the county since 1834, Mrs HARGROVE nearly as long, while Mr BELLAH came here in 1850. The youngest of the three was 75 when she died. They had all taken a deep and active interest in the Sunday school work during their long lives, while Miss BUTLER died at the age of 15 a bright example of the effects of the Sunday school. The convention passed the following resolutions: Resolved, that in the lives and death of Rev Walter MANNING, Rev Samuel J BELLAH, Mrs Louisa HARGROVES and Miss Mary Lena BUTLER, we have examples of pure and holy Christian character and devotion to the Sunday school cause.
