From the Marietta Journal & Courier dated Friday, August 5 1910:

MILFORD

Mr and Mrs S L WISE and little son, Arthur, visited Mr and Mrs Thompson JACOBS
Sunday.

Mr and Mrs James LOWE visited Mr and Mrs A LOWE Sunday.

Mr and Mrs Lum BLAIR spent Sunday with Mr and Mrs W B BLAIR.

Mr and Mrs Will WADE of Birmingham, Ala., are spending some time with Mrs WADE's
mother, Mrs LANDRUM.

Mrs John SMITH is very sick at this writing, we are sorry to note.

The good people in this community have been paying road tax and have not as much
as seen a road scrape in a year or so.

Mr Lee GILLIAM of Marietta is visiting his cousin, Mr Pierce GILLIAM.

Mr G W ANDERSON is visiting his brother, Mr Hick ANDERSON, of Portersville, Ala.

Little Miss Vera JACOBS spent Sunday night with her aunt, Mrs Addie WISE.
