Marietta Journal February 22, 1906
From the Marietta Journal dated Thursday, February 22 1906:

MOUNT BETHEL

Mr R W BELLAH is quite sick.

The First Quarterly meeting will be held at this place next Saturday and Sunday
by Rev CHRISTIAN.

Prof E J JAMISON, principal of our school, is suffering from a stroke of
paralysis in his right arm and hand, rendering him unable to attend to his
duties for the present.

All of Mr A C MARTIN's family are afflicted with mumps except himself.

Mr J R DANIEL gave a pound supper and singing at his home last Wednesday night,
Feb 14th.  The occasion was one of pleasure to all present.
