Mr E D FITZGERALD, our kind neighbor and friend. Mr FITZGERALD leaves a wife and ten children and a host of friends and relatives to mourn his death. Our sympathy goes out to all the bereaved ones. His funeral was conducted by Rev Gus BONDS, at Mars Hill. Mrs S C ABBOT and little daughter of Atlanta are visiting relatives here. Mr H H HEFNER happened to a bad accident on Christmas day. He was cutting wood when a large tree lodged against another tree he was cutting, fell and struck him. He seems to be improving but slowly, but hope he will soon be out again. Mrs Amandy JOHNSON of Indianapolis and Mrs W H HEFNER of Sandy Plains are visiting relatives here his week. Mr J D SMITH and daughter, Montie, of Kirk's Chapel, visited Mr H H HEFNER Sunday. The children all started in to school Monday despite the cold, bad weather. Mr J L HEFNER of Camp Wheeler spent the holidays with his family here.
