Mr John BIRD and daughter, of Atlanta, visited friends here Sunday. Mr and Mrs Martin GRIGGS visited Mr and Mrs C M HEAD Sunday. The many friends of Miss Sarah MANNING will be glad to know that she is improving from her recent serious illness with typhoid fever. Sorry to note that Mr W W HALL's infant has scarlet fever. Everyone in Cobb county should be proud of Mr MAYES and Uncle J Gid MORRIS, for it is by their persistent and untiring efforts that we are known throughout the United States as the banner agricultural county of Georgia. When the capital prize was awarded to them Uncle J Gid immediately telegraphed planter Joe that they had the thousand dollars and were gone to the Klondike region. Three cheers for MAYES and MORRIS. - Don't You See File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/ga/cobb/newspapers/nesbittc407nnw.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.net/gafiles/ File size: 1.5 Kb
