OCTAVIA

J R DOBBS, our honorable Bailiff, is the happy father of a bouncing baby boy.

H R CLAY and family have visited relatives near Acworth last Sunday.

Mr T M HARDY was hurt at a saw mill a few days ago by a log rolling over him.

Mr S F MAYES says one enterprise brings on another or one expense brings another
expense - when he killed hogs his wife informed him that he would have to buy
soap, as clear water would not take the grease off like it would syrup.

A bouncing big girl at Ben MITCHELL's.

Now is the time for the Editors to suspend their papes (sic) and circulate among
their patrons and friends, as there is a great many fat porkers being killed. 
Hog head, spare-ribs and sausage is all the go.

We are proud of our teacher at Due West, he has a head on his shoulders and old
enough to take pride in the progress of his students.
