The Marietta Journal April 28, 1904
OLIVE SPRINGS

DIED - In Atlanta on April 18th, Mrs John Starnes.  She leaves a husband, one
daughter and two brothers, together with a host of friends to mourn her
departure.  Burial at Maloney Springs on Tuesday.

Mr Burt Alexander of Alabama has returned home after visiting friends and
relatives here.

Mrs Ollie Hamby of Texas is the guest of her mother, Mrs Rena Eidson.

Miss Minnie Brewer has returned home after visiting her sister, Mrs H G
Channell, in Gainesville.  

Mrs P T Miles is on the sick list.

Mrs Alonzo Williams and little son, Nathan, of Piedmont, Ala., were the guests
of her aunt, Mrs Dean Alexander, this week.  

Mrs E J Petty, after visiting friends and relatives here, has returned to
Marietta, when in a few days she will be accompanied by her granddaughter, Miss
Daisy Brewer, to Westminister, S. C.

Will and Jim White were called to the bedside of their brother-in-law, Mr John
Branan, who is not expected to live.

Let everybody come out to Sunday School every Sunday.  We hope to have a good
attendance.

Miss Cliff Wade of Marietta is the guest of her cousin, Ruth Daniell, of this
place.

N A Brewer visited relatives in Atlanta Sunday.
