Come out and take part if you live near. Mr and Mrs Palmer HAIRSTON and children, Jeanette and Byron, spent Sunday with Mrs Bill BOOTH, at Benson. Chopping cotton and cutting wheat are keeping the farmers busy these days. The wheat crop is pretty fair this year. Mr and Mrs S M DOBBS spent Sunday with the latter's parents, Mr and Mrs F B McGUIRE and family at Acworth. Miss Lizzie FLYNN is spending several days with her cousin, Mr J E HOOKS, and family. Miss Savannah BEARDEN, who has a position with the Marietta Knitting Co., spent Saturday night and Sunday with home folks. Mr and Mrs John FRASIER of New Salem spent Sunday with their son, Mr Henry FRASIER, and family here. Mrs HITT and daughter, Augusta, of Cartersville, are visiting their daughter and sister, Mrs W T SAWYER, at this place. Mr Homer WRIGHT attended commencement exercises Monday night at the A & M college at Macland.
