Rev F E JENKINS will attend a missionary institute at Canton this week. Miss Josie VAUGHN recently visited in Dallas where she was the guest of Misses Thelma and Idell RUSSOM. On New Years eve, the young people gave the Misses LEWIS a surprise party which was much enjoyed. Games were played, after which refreshments were served. At the midnight hour the old year was rung out and the new in. Mrs EDWARDS has returned home after a visit to her parents here. Mr A J LANDERS has moved to the place which he bought from Mr J W WOLF. Miss Edith BAGGETT was a visitor to homefolks Sunday. Miss Bessie RAGSDALE has returned home from Atlanta where she was the guest of her sister, Mrs DRAKE. Miss Ollie WOLF will visit her sister, Mrs Talmadge WOODMAN, in Dallas this week. School opened here Monday. Mrs W E BUTNER and Miss Ethel BUTNER accompanied Miss Gladys BUTNER on her way to Wesleyan as far as Atlanta.
