The young people enjoyed many happy gatherings together while the older ones met with friends and relatives and enjoyed spend-the-days. Miss Blanche CONYUS of Rome and Miss Inez HODGES of Rockmart, and Mrs LEAK of Mississippi, were the guests of the family of Mr C T LEAK during the holidays. Mr and Mrs OGLESBY and children enjoyed the holidays with Mrs OGLESBY's parents at Elberton. Mr and Mrs Guy LINDLEY and baby were visitors to their parents, Mr and Mrs J F P LINDLEY recently. Dr and Mrs R A SMITH and daughter, Martha, of Thomaston, and Mr and Mrs Ben GIBSON and Ben Jr of Atlanta were guests of Mrs Margaret LINDLEY during the holidays. Mr Comer FURR of Birmingham spent the holidays with his sister, Mrs Alma LINDLEY. Misses Louise and Julia BATE of Acworth were the guests of the families of J E McKINNEY and W J TAPP recently. Many other had company but ye writer was busy and enjoying life too, so couldn't keep up with all the visitors. Mr and Mrs Walter BELL of Atlanta spent Sunday with the family of Mr Warren BELL. Mr and Mrs A G McKINNEY and daughter, Miss Katie, have moved here from Alabama. Rev Jesse L HUNT of College Park filled his regular appointment at the Baptist church Saturday and Sunday.
