She was assisted in entertaining by Miss Beatrice BOOKOUT. Mr Elmer LINDLEY of Madisonville, Tenn., Mr Joe LINDLEY of Marietta, and Mr and Mrs C F HUNT of Atlanta, who have been at the bedside of their father, who continues sick, have returned home. Mrs BURDETTE and two children, from Knoxville, are visiting her parents, Mr and Mrs McKINNEY. Mr J W TAPP and family have moved into their house which was occupied by Messrs FLORENCE and RICE. Mr and Mrs Mason FLORENCE have moved with his parents, and Mr and Mrs Luther RICE have taken rooms with Dr and Mrs LINDLEY until they can build. Misses Emma and Hettie LEWIS entertained at dinner Saturday for Mr LEWIS. Those present were Misses WATSON from Dallas, Misses ARNOLD from Lost Mountain, Miss SMITH, Mr B ARNOLD, Mr Tansel BAGGETT and Messrs LINDLEY. Mr Tom McDONALD and Miss Bobbie TURNER were quietly married Sunday afternoon at the home of Rev W T WALDEN, who officiated. They will go to house-keeping in the house he bought from Dr J S VAUGHN. Mr R L HARDAGE of Charlotte, N C, Mr and Mrs W T HARDAGE, and Mr and Mrs Otis HARDAGE of Atlanta, were the Sunday guests of Mr and Mrs G M HARDAGE.
