Since his first attempt he has been watched by the family but he escaped their attention about ten minutes Friday morning about ten o'clock and went out to his gear house and hung himself with a plow line. The family began searching for him as soon as he was missed and his wife found him dead hanging to the roof of the gear house. He was buried at Bethel church Sunday. ** Thieves have again invaded Hiram and this time B M Waltom & Co., are the sufferers.
