The Marietta Journal December 14, 1905
RED ROCK

J P Reid is having himself a new dwelling built.

Among the sick this week are Mrs A W Kemp and daughter, Miss Carlie, and Mrs
Sallie Hamilton, but all are some better.

There will be a box supper at Due West next Tuesday night for the benefit of a
Xmas tree and everybody are invited to come.

POWDER SPRINGS

Mr and Mrs Eunice Marchman of Atlanta spent last Sunday here, the guests of Dr M
T Marchman and family.

Mr Will Appling is visiting his home folks.  Will has been in Texas for a few
years and we are glad to see him once more.

Miss Mattie Duncan of Atlanta is visiting relatives and friends here this week.

Mr Dyer, who has been assisting in the bank, has gone to Lawrenceville to accept
a similar position.

Mrs Maggie Lindley, Mrs E Lindley and Miss Ada Lewis spent last Saturday in
Atlanta.

Miss Ethel Hardage is visiting in Atlanta.
