ROCKY MOUNT

Sunday School at this place was in a flourishing condition Sunday with 86
scholars on the roll, the school has also raised money and purchased new books.

Mr and Mrs J P AUSTIN and Mr and Mrs J M OWEN spent Saturday in Atlanta with the
latter's sister, Mrs Belle PATILLA, who is low with consumption.

Miss Eva NEWTON was the guest of Miss Annie Lee BANISTER Saturday night.

Mr and Mrs SHAW spent Sunday with his father and mother, Mr and Mrs John SHAW,
here.

Mr and Mrs George BURTZ of this place spent the week end with his son, Dr Chas
BURTZ, of Acworth.

Mr Binnie DAVIS had a great fire battle one day last week, when the fire broke
out in his woods, but with help he was fortunate enough to quench the fire after
fighting from about 12 o'clock until night.

Mr and Mrs Levy HAYGOOD visited relatives in Marietta last week.

Mr and Mrs C C OWEN spent Friday night and Saturday with her parents.

Miss Netie JAMERSON was the guest of Miss Amanda PINSON Saturday night.

Miss Eva NEWTON spent Sunday night and Monday with Miss Maggie OWEN.

Mr and Mrs JAMERSON spent Sunday with Mr Will NEWTON's family.

Mr and Mrs W P BRYAN spent Sunday with their daughter, Mrs Jim SHAW.
