The Marietta Journal June 7, 1894
SANDY PLAINS

Mrs WHELAND of Marietta is visiting Mrs M A MORRIS.

Mr W L KELLY of Marietta visited Miss Lena CHANDLER last Sunday.  

Mrs BUSSEY and Miss ELLIOT of Pike county, Ga., are visiting Mr John CHANDLER
this week.

The singing at Mr John CHANDLER's was largely attended Sunday night.

Mr T G JOHNSON of Roswell visited Mrs GROOVER Saturday and Sunday.

The children's meeting at Holly Springs was largely attended and quite a success.

The Sunday School at this place will have a celebration on the 4th of July. 
Every body invited.

Mr Walter MADDOX and Mr Son MURDOCK are the champion cooks of the community. 
The girls say they are the sort of boys they need.

From present outlook there will be several weddings this fall.

Guess who the young man was that walked five miles to go with his sweetheart to
a picnic and got left?

The annual singing at this place will come off on the first Sunday in July. 
Every body invited and bring their books.  Ladies especially invited.

Mr J W BROWN and family visited Mrs HURSTON on Willec last Sunday.

Miss Emma WHITE is some better.

Mrs W H RICHARDSON is called to the bed side of her sick mother, Mrs STEELE,
down at William MURDOCK's.
