The Marietta Journal December 3, 1908
SARDIS

The singing at Mr Cason BLACK's on last Sunday night was good and largely
attended.  Mr C LUTZ led.

Mr Berry McCORD has moved in the parsonage near Antioch, we learn.

Mr B B COCHRAN, who lived near Bethel, has moved into our community.

Mr John D SAULS and family and Mr Samuel W WEBB and family visited Mr and Mrs
MACKEY last Sunday.

Next Sunday is the regular singing evening at this place.  Everyone invited.

Mr Ed HILL and family spent Sunday with his brother, Mr Rob HILL.

Quite a crowd of our young people enjoyed a singing at the home of Mr G W
WALLACE last Sunday night.

Mrs BRADBERRY of Marietta spent part of last week with her daughter, Mrs Carrie
BLACK.
