The meeting will continue all the following week. We hope to have a glorious revival. Messrs W A KEMP, Rason DOBBS and E A KEMP and their families are tenting at Midway, attending the protracted services being held there this week. They have with them Evangelist HOWARD, their pastor, Rev G F BOURNE, and "Earnest Willie." The outlook is very promising for a good meeting. The little one-year-old daughter of Mr and Mrs J W ROLLINS was badly scalded last week by the turning over of boiling water while they were canning fruit. It is not expected to live. Mrs Lula ELLIOTTE and children have returned to their home at Bolton, after spending about ten days with the family of Mr James F JOHNSTON of this place. Mrs H A TAYLOR is spending a few days in Marietta, visiting her mother, Mrs A L THOMPSON, who is sick. The people of this community are requested to meet at the church next Thursday morning, Aug 5th, for the purpose of cleaning off the church and cemetery grounds. Let everybody come and help. Mr D C OSBORNE of Delma visited friends in this community last Friday and Saturday. A large number of young people attended the singing convention at County Line church last Sunday.
