Mrs ANDERSON had just celebrated her 85th birthday in February and was in fairly good health until a week ago when she had an attack of bronchial pneumonia. She was one of the oldest citizens of Marietta, having come here in the '60's from Spartanburg, S. C., with her husband, Mr D F ANDERSON, who died some thirty years ago. Mrs ANDERSON was an active church worker, a member of the local Presbyterian church and the woman's missionary society of that body. She had lived a long and useful life and will be greatly missed by a host of friends in Marietta and Cobb county as well as by those who are endeared to her by kinship. Her descendants are among the best known families of Cobb county and are a living memorial to her name. Those of the immediate family who survive Mrs ANDERSON are two sons, Mr J D ANDERSON and Mr Elmer ANDERSON, and one granddaughter, Miss Alice ANDERSON, all of Marietta. The funeral services will be held Friday from the Presbyterian church, conducted by Dr J H PATTON. Interment will be made in the city cemetery.
