Funeral services were conducted at the residence by Dr PATTON, on Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Mrs PATTON, Miss Addie SETZE and Mr RUNYAN sang "God Will Take Care of You," and "Nearer My God to Thee." The pallbearers were Messrs HIBBLE, D D UNDERWOOD, Will PETTY, Ed RUNYAN, I H RUNYAN and Will GREENE. The body was sent to Franklin, Ohio, Mr BARKALOW's old home for interment. Mr BARKALOW was born in Ohio, in 1858, and lived there until he moved to Marietta, twenty-six years ago. He has been connected with the Georgia Marble Company for many years and the beautiful wreath of lilies and carnations which the employees of the company sent to his funeral, testified to the esteem in which he was held by them. For many years he has been a faithful member of the Presbyterian church, and his services to the church and Sunday school were invaluable. Mr BARKALOW is survived by his wife, two sons, Mr Fred BARKALOW of LaGrange, and Mr Frank BARKALOW of the prison guard at Fort Leavenworth, Kans., and one grandson, Fred BARKALOW Jr. Mr BARKALOW and Mr Frank BARKALOW accompanied the body to Franklin, Ohio, for burial.
