The Marietta Journal  March 17, 1892
Dr E S BARROWS died in Davenport, Iowa, on March 8th, in his 93rd year.  He left
two daughters, Mrs SANDERS of Davenport, Iowa, and Mrs F L FREYER of Marietta. 
The latter left on Monday to attend his funeral.  Dr BARROW formerly had a
winter home here and for a long time was a surgeon in the United States Navy. 
He had a great many friends here, more particularly among our older people, who
will regret to learn of his death.

Notice contains two spellings of the surname, one with and one without the S.
