William T. Beasley, 64, Succumbs; Rites Today

Marietta, Ga., Jan. 26

William Thomas Beasley, 64, of Powder Springs road, died today at the residence 
following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow at Mount Zion Baptist church, 
with the Rev. A.O. Russell officiating. Burial will be in the churchyard.

Surviving are his wife; five daughters, Misses Irene, Christine and Martha 
Beasley; Mrs. Fred Cunningham and Mrs. Frank Lewis, of Marietta; six sons, 
Gordon Beasley, of Smyrna; Starling, Fred, Tom and Harold Beasley, of 
Marietta., and Private H. Perkins Beasley, of the Army; three sisters, Mrs. Tom 
Lecroy and Mrs. John Foy [sp. should be Frey], of Marietta, and Mrs. Don 
Donehoo, of Atlanta.

William Thomas Beasley was born 8 Jan 1880 and died 25 Jan 1944. He was a son 
of Simeon R. and Nancy C. Robinson Beasley. He was married to Minnie Ola Hicks 
on 8 July 1904.
