The Marietta Journal & Courier  August 30, 1918
On last Saturday evening, Mrs Josephine E BLACKBURN of Atlanta died here at the
home of her niece, Mrs E M YORK.  Mrs BLACKBURN, with her daughter, Mrs E P
MORTON, had been spending some time here, and while she had not been well for
several months, her death came as a shock to her many friends and relatives.

The remains were carried to the chapel of Barnlay and Brandon, in Atlanta, where
the funeral was held on Wednesday afternoon at four o'clock pm.
