Mrs Lula B Carrie, wife of Mr B H Carrie, died at her home Thursday morning. 
The funeral services were conducted at the Methodist church Friday afternoon by
her pastor, Rev W D Parish.  The interment was in the cemetery here.  Mrs Carrie
bore her sufferings with Christian fortitude and in her death the community has
lost one of its noblest women. She is survived by her husband and two daughters,
Misses Jennie and Helen Carrie.  Those attending the funeral from a distance
were Mr Wall, Mr and Mrs Craig, Miss Cleo Craig, Messrs Joe and Hubert Craig,
Mrs Martha Gulliver of Atlanta, Mrs Street Lightfoot of Florida, Mr Lamb and son
of Dallas, relatives of the family.  Mrs Carrie had no near relatives, her
parents having died when she was small.  The beautiful flowers and large number
of friends present attested the high esteem in which she was held in the
community, and the writer joins them in sympathy for the bereaved family.
