Newt Cochran Aged 74, Be Buried Friday at Mt Bethel

Newt COCHRAN, aged 74, one of the oldest citizens of the Vinings district, died
at his home there shortly before midnight Wednesday night after a lingering
illness.  The funeral will be held at Mount Bethel church, of which the deceased
was for many years a member, Friday morning at 11 o'clock.

Hi is survived by his wife, two sons and a daughter, in addition to numerous
grandchildren and a large family connection.

In the years of a long life, the most of which had been spent in Cobb county, Mr
COCHRAN had made hundreds of close friends in all sections of the county who
will regret to learn of his death.
