Death of Howard Conn

The death of this little boy at the age of two years and six months was
unusually sad.  He was burned to death on the 13th of January while alone in the
house.  His father was at work and his mother had gone to the spring for water.

The burial was in the family cemetery on Thursday the 14th of Jan.

Mr Charlie Lutz and Mr Lawrence sang "Shall We Gather at the River" at the
funeral services.  It is a terrible blow to his parents.

"A precious one from them is gone
A voice they loved is stilled;
A place is vacant in the home
Which never can be filled."

Still they feel he has only gone before to his heavenly home and they hope some
sweet day to meet him again.
