MR. CONNER (Died Feb. 1981)
     George W. Conner, 77, 1152-A Claymore Drive, Marietta, died Saturday. 
Funeral services were to be today a 2 p.m. from the chapel of the Norman 
Medford Funeral Home, Marietta. The Rev. Clifton Summerall and the Rev. Byron 
Manter were to preside. Burial was to be in Kennesaw Memorial Park.
     Survivors include his wife Louise Connors, Marietta, son, Norvell 
Conner, Kennesaw; daughters, Margaret Joyce Hayes of Dallas and Tammy Weaver 
of Marietta, eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers Clif 
Conner and Lester Conner, both of Marietta; sisters, Bertie Mae Conner and 
Geneva Hollingshead, both of Marietta, several nieces and nephews.
