Two doctors were called but could do nothing to restore him. He leaves his wife, who was Miss Florence DAWSON, and 8 children. Two of his daughters are married, Mrs Dean TOWERS and Mrs Will DEAN, and the others are at home, four sons and two daughters. The funeral and interment were at Ebenezer Church with Rev W W GAINES officiating. Tributes were paid to him in talks by Judge Newt MORRIS, Solicitor Herbert CLAY, Mr Lee McCLESKEY and Judge MEDFORD, of Woodstock. Mr DOBBS leaves four brothers, Carter, Barney, Bean and J D DOBBS beside numerous relatives. The hymns sung were "Nearer My God to Thee," "There is Rest for the Weary" and "Jesus Lover of My Soul." The pall-bearers were his nephews, Morris, Glenn, Jeff, Frank and Guy DOBBS. A great many people attended the funeral and the floral tributes were beautiful.
