He was taken sick there while on a business trip. His remains were brought to this place on last Monday and interred in the city cemetery, a Catholic Priest from Atlanta officiating at the funeral service. The deceased leaves a wife and one little boy, and two brothers, Messrs Samuel and Richard EARLE of this place, to mourn his sudden and untimely demise. He was a native of Marietta, but a few years ago moved to Birmingham, Ala., where he married. He was consul to Cognac, France under President Cleveland's administration. He was a young man of fine education and greatly esteemed by all who knew him. He was in the 35th year of his age. We tender our sympathy to the bereaved relatives.
