It is with extreme sadness we chronicle the death of Brandt, the 16-year-old son
of Mr and Mrs Isaac V EIDSON, which occurred about 4 o'clock Sunday afternoon,
after an illness of two weeks of typhoid fever.  Brandt was a young man of
sterling qualities, his life and conduct indicating a good and useful man in his
day and generation had he been permitted to reach that estate.  But the choicest
buds often fall prematurely, and so it has been with him.  He has many relatives
and friends who will regret to learn of his death.  He is survived by his
parents, Mr and Mrs Isaac EIDSON, a brother and sister.  His remains were
interred in the new cemetery Monday afternoon, a large concourse of relatives
and friends witnessing the sad occasion.  Our deepest sympathy goes out to the
bereaved family.
