Marietta Journal, March 27 1924
Mrs Julia ELROD, age 45, died at her home in Blue Diamond, Ky., after about two
months of some illness.

She is survived by her husband, Mr Lee ELROD, three sons, Messrs Brady, Fred and
Felton ELROD, one daughter Mrs Carrie KAGERMAKER.  Her mother, Mrs H C KALB of
Winter Park, Fla.  Five brothers, Messrs A H, R C, L C, H C and G C KALB, one
sister, Mrs Joe BAGGETT of Winter Park, Fla., and a host of other relatives and
friends to mourn her death.

She was formerly of Cobb county and was loved by all who knew her.

She was a good wife and a loving mother, it was hard to give her up, but God
knew best.

The funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock at Mt Bethel
church, Rev ROLETALER officiating.  She was laid to rest in Mt Bethel cemetery.
