M. FREY b 02 June 1831 d 09 July 1909 We announced last week the death of Mr. W. M. Frey. Cobb has had no better citizen than he was. Deprived of an extensive education, he spent his life in the most useful farm labor, accumulating quite a neat sum by hard work. Industrious and honest, upright and moral, he made friends of all. His funeral was attended by perhaps 1000 people Sunday morning, all ready to testify to his clean and pure life. The funeral was conducted at the New Hope Methodist Church near town, of which he had long been a most consistent member. Rev. W. G. Wells conducted the service. The Confederate veterans in large number were present, also, and took part in the services. Mr. Frey is survived by his wife, and by three sons, Messrs. B. T., W. J. and E. W. Frey and by three daughters, Mrs. B. J. Hamby, Mrs. Calvin Bullard and Mrs. Pole White. =-================== ======================== USGENWEB NOTICE: In keeping with our policy of providing free information on the Internet, data may be freely used by non-commercial entities, as long as this message remains on all copied material.
