Mrs Maud M GAINES, wife of Jesse O GAINES, died at her home 207 Waterman street,
Tuesday afternoon at five o'clock.  The end came sweetly and peacefully after a
lingering illness of more than two years.  She was a loving wife, a devoted
mother, and a consistant mmeber of the Methodist church.

She was buried at Antioch, the place of her birth and childhood.  She leaves a
husband and four children; her mother, Mrs M E MANNING, five brothers, Ralph M,
Homer W, Chas A, Roy and Walter MANNING and three sisters: Miss Ethel and Miss
Fannie Lou MANNING and Mrs Esmer WARD.
