The Marietta Journal, March 8, 1894
The wife of Mr Sanford GORHAM died on last Thursday morning at one o'clock, aged
64 years.  She had been sick about eight or ten days with pneumonia.  She leaves
a husband and two children, Mr Jerome GORHAM and Mrs Emma CADWELL, and several
grand-children to mourn her death.  She was a member of the Baptist Church.  Her
death is deeply regretted by all who knew her.  Her funeral took place at the
Baptist Church Friday afternoon at half past two o'clock, Rev J A WYNNE
officiating.  After which her remains were placed at rest in the city cemetery.
 We tender our sympathy to the bereaved family.
