L V HANEY CLAIMED BY DEATH

Mr Larkin V HANEY, age 72 years, died at his home at New Hope Tuesday evening,
Dec. 16th, after a very short illness.  Mr HANEY was one of the most prominent
citizens of the county and his death is a great loss to the community in which
he has lived for quite a number of years.  Mr HANEY is survived by his wife, Mrs
Georgia A HANEY, two sisters, Mrs Sarah A MITCHELL, Atlanta, Mrs Lizzie JOHNSON,
Roswell, three brothers, Mr R HANEY, Marietta, Mr B HANEY, Wh?t?, Ga., Mr J M
HANEY, Lyth, Texas, one daughter, Mr R J OTWELL, Smyrna, and four sons, Mr H C
HANEY, Mr Virgil HANEY, Mr H M HANEY, Marietta, Mr Albert HANEY, Atlanta.  The
funeral services were held at Mt Bethel Church Thursday, Dec. 18th, at eleven
o'clock, a m.  Rev Geo V CROW of Cartersville officiating.  Interment was in Mt
Bethel Cemetery with John S Dobbins & Sons in charge.
