Mrs HARDAGE had not been well for the past several years, but her last sickness was not more than of ten days duration. She was converted and joined the Baptist Church a number of years ago. The purity and constancy of her Christian life evinced the genuineness of her conversion and consecration. She loved the church and its ordinances, and was always in attendance when she could go. As a wife, she was devoted; as a mother, tender and faithful. She was the centre and inspiration of a large family, but she suffered and died as only a Christian can. Everything that loving hands could do was done, but God saw fit to take her from her suffering. Mrs HARDAGE is survived by a husband, and four sons and three daughters. They are Mrs CULPAPPER of Homerville, Ga.; Mrs Mattie MOON of Atlanta; Mr Robert HARDAGE of Richmond, Va.; Mr William HARDAGE and Mr ---- HARDAGE of Atlanta; Mr Garnett HARDAGE and Miss Ethel HARDAGE of this place, besides a large circle of relatives and a host of friends. We sympathize deeply with the bereaved family. The funeral was conducted at the cemetery Monday by Rev Mr Ruben BARROW. Mr SPINKS, her pastor, being sick.
