The Marietta Journal  June 11, 1891
On last Saturday, Miss Lula, daughter of Mr William HILL, who lives near here,
went into the kitchen alone to finish up some ironing.  She had been in the room
an hour or more when her mother, who was in an adjoining room, heard a peculiar
noise and went to learn the cause of it.  Miss Lula was found out on the ground
on her back with one foot on the lower step as if she had just fallen.  She was
perfectly unconscious, a tea cup full or more of blood and froth having come out
of her mouth.  After being brought in she partially recovered, but soon began to
sink and within less than two hours after she was found she died.  Up to this
hour her health, so far as was known, had been perfect for many years.  Miss
HILL was 25 years of age.  - Austell Advertiser
