All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/ga/gafiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: M Little http://www.genrecords.net/emailregistry/vols/00026.html#0006458 November 19, 2007, 2:03 pm Marietta Journal & Courier, November 9 1917 The remains of Mrs Ed HULL of Besemer, Ala., were brought here Monday night to the home of her brother-in-law, Mr John HULL, the funeral was impressively conducted at the Baptist church Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock by Rev A J MORGAN in the presence of a gathering of relatives and friends after which the remains were interred by that of her mother, Mrs Mattie FOWLER GIBSON. As Jessie GIBSON, Mrs HULL was reared here being the daughter of Mr and Mrs Fletcher GIBSON, one of the town's most charming young women. None knew Jessie but to love her, and the immense flowers that covered the grave was no more purer and lovely than the life of Jessie GIBSON. Besides her husband, Mr Ed HULL, she is survived by two sons, Horrace and Byron. Mrs E T BOOTH, her sister, and Messrs Will and Charlie GIBSON, her brothers, have the sympathy of their many friends and relatives. Those attending the funeral of Mrs HULL from a distance were Mr Tom GIBSON of Acworth, Mr Fletcher GIBSON of Smyrna, Mr and Mrs Emmett BENSON, Mr PARRISH, Mrs Emmett HARDAGE, Miss Mattie Lou TATE, Mr and Mrs Albert BENSON of Marietta, and Mr and Mrs Thad McCLESKEY of Noonday and Mr Charlie GIBSON of Douglas.
