INGRAM, 87, FORMER COBB RESIDENT Ernest S. Ingram, 87, of Tallapoosa, died Friday. Services will be 2:00 p.m. today at Greers Chapel Baptist Church in Kennesaw with the Revs. Buddy Gentry and Larry Conner officiating. Burial will be in the Greers Chapel Cemetery. The body will be at the church from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. A former resident of Cobb County, Mr. Ingram was a masonry contractor and worked for the Cobb County Sheriffs Department. He was a former resident of Greers Chapel Baptist Church.. Mr. Ingram lived in Tallapoosa the past 25 years, and was a member of Riverside Baptist Church in Tallapoosa. Survivors include his wife, Naomi Ingram of Tallapoosa; one daughter, Evelyn Windham of Daytona Beach, Fla.; five sons, Harry Ingram, Edward Ingram, Joe Ingram, Ralph Ingram, Tommy Ingram all of Marietta; two step-daughters, DeLaine Jaillet of Tallapoosa, Lynn Turner of Marietta; one sister, Pearl Brown of Memphis, Tenn.; 16 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. (It does say resident of Greers Chapel Baptist Church, it is not a typo for me.
